Institut français cinema posters
For Institut français, I have created a poster series for a film programming called Cartes Blanches with a wonderfully curated selection of films shown in the institutes in Istanbul and Izmir.
I have decided to show stills of the movies on the posters, making it look like a cinema where each visitor is watching the screen from a different angle. Apart from our physical perspective in the cinema, our conceptions of the films are also different. Cartes Blanches hosts directors and other movie connoisseurs at the end of the screening who discuss the movie.
